THE WIZARD OF OZ = HUGE SUCESS!!
A big "THANK YOU" to everyone who helped out to make "The Wizard of Oz" a tremendous sucess! The show was very well recieved, so congratulations to all who were involved!!
ALSO!
Congratulations to our two raffle winners!
Hot Air Ballon Package - Sr. Cathy Doherty
NYC Package - Karen Liszewski
Our raffle was able to raise over $3000 for SFA Broadway and St. Francis, so THANKS to all who participated!!
There were a lot of people asking about the Wizard of Oz Bobble Heads. I got these from my Mother in Law. She purchased them from Westland Giftware, items #1808-1814 in their "Wizard of Oz" line.
I'll really try hard to get pictures up from this show and previous shows so we can all see them!
NEXT on the agenda:
SFA BROADWAY SUMMER CAMP!!!
Please visit the summer camp page for more information and a printable brochure/registration page.
We will be putting together a full length musical (Bye, Bye, Birdie!) to performance quality in just two weeks!
Join us for all the challenging fun!!
I would like to give a personal thanks to the following people for all their help with making the set pretty much exactly like I wanted it:
- Steve and Jeanne Epley!
- Mike and Paula Herries
- Chris and Julie Hollander
- Vernon and Matthew Schaeperkoetter
- Steve and Amy Kosta
Thanks again for all your help!!!
For those of you who are avid SFA Broadway web-page readers:
Here is a little advance notice of upcoming news...
As you will find out in the Wednesday Newsletter I, Mr. Nick, am starting work on my M.F.A. in theatre direction from Lindenwood University. This will be a full time position, and will entail me to become (once again) a full time student. Unfortunately this means I will no longer be able to continue my role as Music Teacher at St. Francis.
I would like to thank everyone who have helped to make my past 3 years here so wonderful, and let everyone know I will miss teaching here so much.
I am looking into the possibility of continuing my work as Director of SFA Broadway (and even possibly getting credit toward my degree for it).
Thank you for all your support for this program!!
